Eh. I have low expectations for delivery Chinese, and this pretty much met them. The ma po tofu was pretty tasteless, never mind spicy. Actually it all was fairly tasteless (also got black bean noodles). I make a better ma po! You just need peppercorn and chili bean paste, why was this such a fail??? I guess I have to make my own now just to feel better. Anyhoo I won’t be trying Lucky Panda again. Barrhaven has such bad Chinese, what is the deal with that?

Worst Chinese Food in Barrhaven. Ordered take-out in December. The food was so bad we couldn’t eat it except for the chicken balls and egg rolls. The garlic spare ribs were full of gristle, the chicken fried rice was almost black it had so much soya sauce on it, and the Cantonese chow main was disgusting. I have no idea was sauce they used, but it was like eating soggy spaghetti noodles with coloured red sauce.
Unimpressed. We ordered a variety of different items and we found that the meats tasted strange. Not the right texture for any of it, I wondered if it was actually chicken at times and if it had gone bad. The only item that tasted OK were the egg rolls. I would not suggest the chicken chop suey, Cantonese noodles, spring rolls, chicken wings (came free with the meal) and beef and broccoli. We spend over $100 on their food and will not be ordering from there again.
Very good food we like. Get the fryer they changed owner. we ordered from them ,food is very good very tasty. the best in barrhaven.
Best egg rolls in Ottawa: hand rolled (I think), with just the right amount of meat to them. I do wish that their General Tso chicken was a bit spicier, but knowing how unadventurous people are in the suburbs, I can’t blame the owners for playing it safe.
