Since opening Merivale Noodle House has quickly risen to my top ranked Pho in Ottawa.The broth is excellent, perfectly balanced and most importantly it is consistent. I always order tendon, tripe and beef ball. Generous amounts of all ingredients, the tendon (if that’s your thing) is easily the best ive ever had.Service at first was pretty lacking but as I became it’s vastly improved.
My new favourite pho restaurant in Ottawa! The broth is the most authentic and rich…and not watered down like many other places. Several other traditional Vietnamese dishes on the menu (according to my Vietnamese friends). Service ranges from good to excellent but never any problems. They always care about you being happy with your meal.
Pricey but you get what you pay for. I find you get more beef with the Pho as well as better cuts. Also the broth has great flavour and the vegetables are always very fresh. I have eaten in as well as had take-out and have had nothing but great service and great food. My goto place for Viet now.
