Stopped in here for lunch after buying a new lid at Gearhead. Wow. Super nice bartender/server explained everything we needed to know about this little gem. Had a cold draft from the Ashton Brewery that was really good. She Who Must Be Obeyed and I split a bowl of chili as an appetizer; homemade and chock full of veggies, meat and seasonings. Not super spicy; a good everybody happy mix. We then split a small (6 piece) Mort’s Special pizza for our main. Lots of cheese and toppings crowned with real bacon. Not crumble, not faux bacon, BACON. Could not have asked for a more pleasant experience; food and ambience wise. Love little stand alone places like this and hate that we lose more of them every year. Wish I lived in the west end so I could go more often because I would. Great job Mort’s; if we’re close, we’ll be back.

Last night a friend of mine ordered me one of your pizzas and this was the first time I ever had one of your pizzas and I have to say that it was the best pizza that I have had in a long time. It came hot and the crust was just amazing. When I had the first slice I couldn’t wait to have the next one it was like I was addicted to it. I am definitely going to order it again.
