Sign out front advertises slices & pop for $3.99. Walked in at 11:30am and was told, extremely rudely, that he didnt get there until 11 and the oven takes an hour to heat up. WHY OPEN WHEN YOU CANT SERVE ANYTHING?? Brutal attitude from the employee…will never return.
Great Pizza. I read the comments where people are complaining and quite frankly I am surprised. I have been ordering from Mr. Mozzarella for almost a decade and what was delivered was always: a) what I ordered b) delicious c) on time d) warm.Friends who share a pizza I have ordered from Mr. Mozzarella always rave about it. Good food with good service.
Surprised!!. Always got pizza from San Marino or Colonade. We saw in a flyer that Mr Mozz had some good looking specials so we tried it. It was actually very good. The sauce is good and there were lots of toppings. The price has the other two beat by a mile, way less. Tried it a second time thinking maybe it was a fluke but no, it was good again. Well worth trying.
My mistake. Like some sort of idiot I thought I would give this place another try. Hey, they have a lot of interesting looking pizza’s. So I ordered a Julius Casear….garlic sauce, cheese, spinach, chicken…sounds great, right? So when we finally got our pizza (an unsurprising/expected hour after we ordered) the toppings on my pizza had all slide OFF the pizza and were pooling in the box. If that wasn’t bad enough the crust wasn’t even cooked. Not even exaggerating there wasn’t a single pin prick of brown on it…totally WHITE. There was an ungoldy amount of sauce on it as well, yet there was MAYBE a teaspoon of spinach on the whole thing. I ended up picking off the chicken and just eating that. The rest of the pizza was completely inedible.28 Jun, 2012Meh.. Took a really long time to get our food. Got a greek pizza, which was okay. Toppings tasted good but there was too much crust and too much cheese. They need a thin crust option. Delivery person was super rude and only responded with grunts.
Did not fill order. I just received delivery of my pizza from Mr. Mozzarella. I had ordered a medium combination pizza with thin crust, as well as olives and onions. The person I spoke to wasn’t very friendly and I had the impression he wasn’t very focused when taking my order. The pizza arrived fairly promptly and it was hot. However, it had NO pepperoni on it and it was on very thick crust. When I called back, I had to give my complaint to 2 different people, they seemed very rushed, apologized and told me I would be given a discount next time I place an order, I haven’t decided if I will reorder with them. I suggest you ask the person you give your order to read it back to you but I can’t figure out how a combination pizza would have no pepperoni.
The Barrhaven Mr. Mozzarella has always treated us well. Good sauce, fresh toppings. It’s our new favourite place since Pizza Haven closed.
