This review is actually for the Nestle Toll House Cafe in Westboro.Nestle Toll House on Richmond has an inviting atmosphere and service with a smile. If you walk in from Richmond Road, you’re greeted by a friendly face and a variety of classic and new Nestle baked goods. (And they have giant cookies!!!) The location is well lit with natural light and is quite spacious. It felt modern and nothing like a typical mom-and-pop run bakery, which wasn’t a bad thing. The theme had modern flair for a classic brand and the atmosphere was calm, aside from the occasional shriek of an overly excited child… instagram.com
If you like chocolate, it’s a place for you.. I’ve always been greeted with good service and I’ve been going since it opened. I remember this young lady working by herself and I had ordered a crepe. Some customers started flowing in and she kept her cool. I wish I remembered her name. Really friendly and seemed to enjoy her job. She also made a great strawberry, banana and Nutella crepe compared to the one I had 2 days ago where all the fruits bunched up in the middle. This was about 6 weeks ago. I do agree that the prices seem a bit much and some items taste like it was massed produced, but it’s perfect when I need something to satisfy my sweet tooth.

The service was extremely bad, everything from being ignored at the cash to being treated cooly and we got the impression we were disrupting her. We had the crepes that took over 10 minutes each to make and they were not meeting our lowest criterial. The only positive thing I can say is the frozen yogurt was very good. However the price we paid for it completely ruined the whole thing. I would NOT go back, and I don’t recommend it to anyone

Amazing cookie cake and brownies. Nestle Toll House is a little bit on the expensive side, but they have the best desserts in this part of Ottawa. The brownies are amazing and come fresh out of the oven, with multiple flavours to choose from. The cookie cake is a must get for anyone who’s having a birthday and loves cookies, it’s essentially just a giant cookie with icing on it.
Expensive!. Totally agree! Rip off! They try to up sell you on buying more cause its cheaper but $7 for 6 mini cookies!
