I wouldn’t even give this place one star if it was an option. We started by placing our order, we then said it was for delivery. We then gave them our address and there’s a HUGE language barrier with the woman who I learned was the owner. I spelled it out for her and she proceeded to get mad and yell because she couldn’t understand. That should of been our first clue to cancel the order. When the food arrived I paid for it and put it on the bench. My wife then grabbed the bag from the top and bottom since they managed to cram everything into one bag barely being able to staple it. She barely took one step and the bottom of the bag let go due to something leaking which was the boiling hot soup who also covered my wife’s leg and the ceramic tiled floor. Which being wet she also slipped right onto her back also hitting her head and elbow onto the tiles.. food everywhere.. I then called them back to let them know what happened and again the owner started screaming at me saying this wasn’t her fault, I’m lying and call the cops it’s not her problem, there was nothing wrong with the bag when they delivered it and hung up. Whatever food we could eat that hadn’t fell on the floor was absolutely disgusting hard and dry almost like it was reheated over and over again. If u want gross food and horrible customer service this is the place to go!! Never again!!!
I thought the food was amazing, it was an awesome vegetarian option until I found at least four pieces of chicken in my veggie fried rice. As I am strict about my vegetarianism, this has me completed disgusted. It’s unfortunate because I would have ordered there again, but not after this.

Mediocre. Overall an okay experience.Good:- ordered online, came in about 30 minutes. Fast delivery!- chicken balls were awesome, and chow mein has real chicken slices- lots of sauce includedBad:- order came too quick; supposed to come with fortune cookies and almond cookies, but non in bag- rice had a burnt taste, otherwise plainI don’t eat Chinese food a lot, so I probably won’t order from here again
The woman who answers the phone is a crazy bitch and yells at you… She makes you think your stupid but you can’t understand what she’s saying It’s English not engreshhh
Excellent. The food there is great, I don’t understand the terrible reviews!It’s always super hot and super fresh. We order from there every saturday night and have never waited more than an hour for our food which is amazing considering they are a bit of a distance away and the pizza place across the street takes just as long.There was one occassion the hunan beef was a little fishy but considering how frequently we order and the 101 special requests we make for allergies, etc that this is no big deal.They are really good with our special requests, keeping in mind they have english speaking staff on weekends. During the weekday some of the staff do have very poor english skills but they still get the orders right. My favorites are the noodles with beansprouts, and the gen taos chicken. My mom LOVES the almond guy ding and my daughter loves the chicken balls. It’s nice that the chicken is always all white meat, I hate these other restaurants when you bite into it and it has chunks of dark brown or black or red blood spots….We will continue ordering once a week, and LOVE the food!
One more chance. I live in the Nepean area and I have been ordering Chinese food from many different places over the years. unfortunately I am usually disappointed with the majority of places I come across. however New Hong Kong is Defenetly the best so far. The order came in under 20 min and was carelessly given to me by a man who didn’t even bother looking at my face or acknowledge me when he gave me the food. Thankfully the food was very hot and fresh. basically the same generic Chinese food you would find everywhere else. but it was done very well.
