Best breakfast place in town. We have been going to Ralph’s for many years now and the servers are the best. Great family run business. Food is fabulous and refills are always done without asking. Immaculate diner with fast service. Would not go anywhere else.Cathy
It’s okay. Was rushed by the waitress to leave when the restaurant was 1/3 full. Burger was okay..might go back.

Breakfast. I have eaten breakfast at a Ralph’s many times… I usually walk or bike over with friends. The atmosphere is friendly, the service excellent and the food good. However, on my last visit I was charged an extra 75 cents for my egg to be poached! I had ordered the breakfast special. I’m not sure why it would cost 75 cents more to poach an egg than fry it or scramble it…. I was not impressed and doubt if I will be back.
Rude employee….or owner. I’ve been there several times over the last 3-4 years, the morning of September 6 2014 being the latest.I went for breakfast with a retired friend I had not seen in a long time. We first ordered coffee and told the waitress we would be ordering breakfast in a little while longer. After a cup of coffee or two a person working there (the owner according to my friend) interrupted us and told us in so many words that we should order now as people were waiting. The odd thing is that there were NO ONE waiting, AND there were a number of empty tables! I go to all kinds of restaurants at least a few times a week and this has never happened to me. We stayed for about 1 hour and a half. There are many decent breakfast places in Ottawa with welcoming owners, this place is not one of them.
I loved the service, everyone we talked to was nice. The quality of food was something suprising, felt like a home cooked breakfast. Very satisfying!
