I’ve been coming here for years. The place has grown! It used to consist of a stove, a pile of takeout containers, and a line out the door (mostly Nortel and CJOH folks). There are a handful of tables now, but it is definitely not a glam place to dine. For the last few visits I’ve been ordering vegetarian dishes and they’ve always been reliably tasty. quietfish.com
Best curry in Ottawa. By far the best Indian curry in Ottawa. I have been going there for year and consistency is spot on, I have never been disappointed.
Sorry to have to say this… But I gave this place a try after it was recommended by someone who worked nearby and of course after seeing the 94% review it received her in Urbanspon. I absolutely LOVE Indian food and I was really hoping this was going to be a good.The owner was very kind and the place was clean however sadly, I was not impressed by anything else. Telling me my food with be ready in 30-40secs worried me… I certainly don’t mind waiting. The chicken was low quality – more like brown meat (legs/drumsticks). I got 2 curries with rice and even the Chana Masala wasn’t anything spectacular. I just don’t understand how this place gets such high ratings. I want rich flavour and i did not get that here. Overall I was very disappointed and I will not return.
Delicious. I finally got a chance to try this place for lunch today. My friend had three vegetarian dishes; I had the chicken curry. The food was delicious and very fresh. The restaurant was clean and the service cheerful. I’ll be back!
Excellent!. Party of 5 ordering chicken/beef combos. Everybody agreed the food was extremely delicious. I especially liked the naan bread.
