Always a fine choice for easy Chinese food. Fair size combination plates. Terrific effort in terms of service. Not a fancy place, but that’s part of its charm.
Excellent and Always Fresh. Tai Ping is a great little old fashioned Canadian Chinese take out and eat in restaurant. We have been buying from them for over 20 years now. Great Service with a Smile and always very fresh food. Recommend them anytime. Very Happy…:-)
Not again. Not suitable for vegans or vegetarian. However they made a good effort. Felt like I was five, plastic cups and no offering of chop sticks. The only flavoring I had was hot sauce, could not believe they did not have any ginger or real flavor in their food. How ever the vegetables were crispy. Their food doesn’t beckoning me back ever.
Fantastic. Really love this Chinese food. I have been going there since I was a child. I have tried others but Tai Ping is my favorite. The dcor in the restaurant is dated but the food makes up for it. Highly recommend this food.
Very Basic Chinadian Food. I ordered here as Golden Palace is just too expensive on a weekly basis…in the end it’s just worthwhile to spend the extra. The springrolls were filled with mushy lettuce and barely anything else at all. The chicken balls separated from their batter and tasted like kids food. I didn’t even touch the wontons – wouldn’t go near them.I will not be so reckless with my poor palette next time. My daughter who is 10 found the chickenballs scrumptious so if it’s primarily kids you’re feeding-go for it! Adults, beware.
Love Tai Ping. We have ordered food from Tai Ping for the last 15 years and we have never been disappointed and they have never once made an error on our order. The food is consistantly good. It is your standard Canadian Chinese food so you should expect that. Excellent staff! Thank you Tai Ping!
Hmmm…hmmm…good!. This is a small family owned and operated restaurant that has stood the test of time. The menu is extensive and varied. The food is excellent! The service is quick and friendly. I am sure to go there at least bi-weekly for my feast. 🙂
