*Food Poisoning*I ordered here for the first time over the weekend. Placed a delivery order for Black bean beef with rice noodles, won ton soup and 2 eggrolls. Order placed at 538. Arrived at 6pm. That should have been my first clue. Soup was not horrible. Noodles did not smell like what I’m used to but I ate them anyways.I ate and immediately felt bloated. I dismissed this as over eating and went to bed. At 4am I woke up with the worst food poisoning. I called them the next day once I was able to pry myself away from the bathroom. The man who answered the phone told me it was my fault for not knowing what kind of food I’m allergic to. He insisted that the noodles are frozen and couldn’t possibly be an issue. He did not seem like he cared what I had to say and kept blaming me. I am writing this to warn other potential customers. Order somewhere else unless you enjoy feeling so sick you want to be killed.
been going here since the mid 80’s when is was in front of the drive thru 🙂 a must go the lil whole in the wall that have been there 30 years are always good ..there is a reason this place does so well …simple and they keep it the way it was
It wasn’t all bad…but it wasn’t good. The cashew chicken was mainly celery. I wasn’t expecting a lot of cashews, but they diced the chicken fine to make it look more plentiful. The crispy beef was soggy and the sauce tasted like it came out of a jar. The General Tao’s was a joke. Fried frozen chicken pieces in jarred sauce. Or at least that’s what it tasted like. The beef and broccoli was good. So was the pork chop suey. The chicken chow mein was good but it was the same tiny diced chicken pieces. I don’t know if it was on off night, but I’m unwilling to try again. I didn’t even want my share of the leftovers.
