  WE HAD A GREAT TIME. GOOD TRADITIONAL ITALIAN FOOD, STEAKS SEAFOOD AS WELL. FINALLY A PLACE ON THE WEEKENDS THAT OFFERS GREAT LIVE MUSIC, FOOD, NON RUSHED SOFT DINNER MUSIC AND THE BAND SLOWLY RAISES UP THE ENERGY LEVEL WITH A DANCE FLOOR. WE GOT IN ON A SATURDAY AT 7 PM, NOT RUSHED HAD GREAT DINNER STAYED TIL ELEVEN ENJOYING THE BAND. WE HAD A GREAT TIME AND MADE AN EVENING OUT OF IT. WE EVEN DANCED A SLOW ONE AND MEDIUM ONE. WHAT A NICE CHANGE FROM WEEKEND ONE HOUR MAX WEEKEND ZOO RESTAURANTS SLAMMING BILL DOWN FOR THEIR NEXT SEATING. NOT AT VILLA LUCIA, ONE SEATING AND A NICE BIG TABLE. WAITERS ARE REALLY NICE AND CARE FOR ONCE. HOME MADE BREAD TO START HOT WITH OILS AND OR BUTTER, APPS GARLIC SHRIMP WITH MOZZARELLA BUBBLING HOT, AND MAIN COURSE STEAK FOR ME AND MANICOTTI FOR MY WIFE, AND DESSERT WAS TIRA MI SU. WE REALLY HAD A GOOD TIME. WHERE ELSE CAN A 35 AND UP GO TO AN UN RUSHED GOOD DINNER, MUSIC LIVE BAND, NICE DINING ROOM? WE HAD APPETIZER, WINE, MAIN COURSES. A DESSERT FOR HUNDRED BUCKS AND WELL UNDER. YOU WON’T BE SORRY. ASK FOR GIORGIO AS YOUR WAITER.

  I’d like to support this community restaurant but they are bad neighbors and need a serious etiquette check. I don’t know if it’s because their patrons don’t follow the rules or if the owners really don’t care at all, but they seem to have no idea that there are multiple houses and apartment complexes nearby, and this is not downtown Ottawa on a Friday night.Why, just tonight they allowed a large outdoor party with loud music and a plethora of FIREWORKS to be set off after 10pm, on a Sunday, within meters of residential houses and all our cars. I was trying to get to bed and I nearly had a heart attack when a frightened bird flew into my window as the explosions started.In the past they have allowed a motorcycle club to congregate in their parking lot for a BBQ, and they made a show of revving their engines for us at 7am on a Saturday. No courtesy to the community whatsoever, so I’m afraid I cannot recommend supporting this restaurant.

  Looking to spend a ridiculous amount on food you’d be embarrassed to make and serve your own guests? Want awkward synthesized music to dance to? Want to feel like you’re in an old age home, mushy food, and all? Want horrible service? Well wait no longer, my friend! Villa Lucia has it all! Seriously skip this one. For the love of god, skip it.

  Chewy over cooked steak.. Ordered steak, medium rare. Got a well done chewy steak. Not worth the $30, way overpriced for the quality of food served.

  Amazing restaurant. Old style, very classic. Best place to spend a fine evening with family and friends. Awesome service. Great owners. Clean food. Owners are very picky about what they serve. It’s our only place for family banquets. Highly highly recommended!!!! Viva Lucia!!!!

  Wow, what a blast from the past. This place is awesome. As soon as we walked through the door a flood of memories from my childhood filled my head. We loved it all, we danced to old melodies belted out by the Elvis look a like & bleached blond duo. The food was very good but a little pricey ( not outragiouse). The best way to look at it is that you are paying for the experience as well as the food. For first timers I would recomend trying it on a Friday or Saturday night, the bigger the crowd, the better the experience. We have been back a couple of times. A deffinate do over.
