Sadly, this is not the same under the new owners. The food was flavourless and greasy. There were so many fruit flies. Water glass was dirty. The staff dont seem to care, or check on patrons. After coming ever since the restaurant opened, sadly, I think I wont be back.

I try to get down to Welcome Back once a week if I can. Each order of food is made fresh and is most tasty. The egg rolls are excellent as are all the luncheon specials. I go for the food and not the price, which is very reasonable. Unless you are real snob or purist, you will enjoy your meal.
This is what really good food tastes like. Some canadians do not know what really good food tastes like. they make their own egg rolls sauces and cook every thing on site.This is what Chinese food is suppose to taste like. Well done Welcome Back staff.
Best Eggrolls!. Best eggrolls in Ottawa! They are the bomb!Crap decor but excellent food and superb and fast service. Never been disappointed with a meal here.
Not Impressed. The food is neither excellent nor terrible considering the cost. The menu prices have increased when compared to the online menu, and when ordering your food for pick up ensure they repeat the order back to you and check that its actually in the bag. I dont recommend buying the combination plates as the price does not justify amount.
