Love restos in old Victorian houses. Decor is very warm and inviting. We had last minute reservations and ended up being seated in the bar area, against the wall. Not very romantic, but got to see all the food coming out of the kitchen which was appetizing. Servers were very polite but didn’t quite get to a very good intro. More like have a seat, have drinks, and are you ready to order? I mentioned I had questions first, and they responded very courteously. Ordered the scallops, escargots, tenderloin and trout. AMAZING!!! I usually don’t order fish, but I did not regret it. Will definately recommend.
Incredible Attention to Detail. We had just moved into the area, and were told that Bistro Seven Seven was a fine dining experience not to be missed. Well, they were right – amazing service, finely prepared and beautiful food in a lovely setting. The server was funny, helpful and personable, and never missed the opportunity to enhance our meal. From the beginning before the appetizers, to the wonderful between-course tastes, it was a culinary work of art.The duck confit was a particular highlight, as were the succulent scallops served as appetizers. Also much-enjoyed was the organic beef short-ribs with an amazing chipotle/maple crust – so tender and with a taste not soon forgotten. And the Chocolate Banoffee Bread Pudding is heavenly beyond words. I can’t say enough positive things about this establishment. We will certainly be back for another treat soon.

Simply Amazing. My husband and I went out to Bistro Seven Seven, last night for the first time. We happened to go when they offer the fixed price dinners (Tues, Wed, Thurs). Both of us ordered off that menu. You get three courses of gourmet, arfully presented food for $25. It is ridiculous how divine the food is for that price. Not only do you get three courses but you get an amuse bouche to start, a pallette cleanser of sorbet inbetween course one and two, and to finish the evening after dessert, they had a mouthful of homemade fudge for both of us. The restaurant was packed (so make reservations!) but the service was very well timed, it was speedy but we were not rushed. And considering how many items needs to be brought to each table over the course of a meal, I was really impressed with our waiter who was extrememly polite and attentive. Thank you for the best dinner I have had in years!!! I don’t plan on going anywhere else for a long time!!!
The Keg use to be my favorite. Place until I dined here. The food was amazing, the service impeccable and the price reasonable. I always look forward to eating there
