Dog Food. I wasl looking for a decent Indian take out in the Newmarket area and thought I would try this place. The place looks scary and hasn’t been renovated in 11yrs. There is only 1 scary looking man that works here and he does everything. He doesn’t accept any plastic, not even Interact just plain old cash. I ordered Chicken Korma with Rice and Naan. The Chicken was all fatty and bones and it got so bad that I wasn’t able to bite without feeling bones or simply stuff a dog shouldn’t eat. The Rice was yellow and not white and looked and tasted from a box. The Naan washy and soggy. The best Indian Restaurants in GTA is Bomba Bhel, Little India and The Tandori house.
This restaurant is a must. The food was authentic and delicious! Chicken dishes were very tender and the samosas are definitely an item you should try. The owner is friendly and the service was excellent. Price was fair and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I will absolutely go back again. Go for a different experience, you won’t be disappointed.
Mr. Roy. I haven’t had good Indian food like this in years. I was brought up with Parse food and miss it greatly. I have searched many Indian restaurants and have only now found one that does it the way I remember. Even the Naan bread is real.Thank you, Mr India Time, for making us so elated to find the tastes of Northern India the way we remember; to bring us back to the spices, flavours and recipes that we so miss.
Very Authentic. This was my first time going into the restaurant to eat and I was amazed with the selection of dishes available on the menu. I was a bit skeptical at first because the owner of the restaurant was operating the place all alone. But surprisingly he was able to put out the orders as promised regardless of the rush of customer take outs. The naan was incredible fresh, soft and flaky. The curry was very delightful and true to the Indian culture. We had a good chat with the owner, and he was very friendly to talk to. We would definitely come back for an Indian food craving any day. The taste of the food was very satisfying and on the top of my list of Indian restaurants in this neighborhood. I would make this my regular to go place from now on. I wish others would understand that running a restaurant all by yourself is very difficult.
BEWARE. This man will rip you off and then not answer the phone when you call back. i ordered a paneer, lamb korma and steamed rice. I recieved old yellow rice and the other dishes were not even edible. There was NO lamb in the korma only bones. Iv never been so upset with a place that iv ordered from in my life and I eat out daily do to working on the road. Do not order from this man. what a joke and a waste of 27$
Great Restaurant!. We order take-out from here pretty regularly! The owner is super friendly, and the food is yummy and filling. I think most people order take-out instead of sit and eat here. Haven’t been? Give it a go! 🙂
Not great. Looking for a good Indian in Aurora / Newmarket . This is NOT it .Average at best , meat was tough and naan bread doughy . No wonder it was empty when I arrived.
