The pho was very salty and the rare beef wasn’t rare. My wife had cashew chicken and the sauce was had a thick and almost gooey consistency (probably corn starch). Really didn’t enjoy the meal.
Worst fried rice ever!!!!. I have had fried rice hundreds of times in my life but NEVER like this. I received my order and all the components in the dish including the rice were burnt. I was told by the owner that when cooking in a wok that’s the way fried rice comes out. Anyways, if you want to try burnt fried rice try Pho-Nomenal.
PHO NOMENAL!!!!. Sooooo goood, i totally believe that they sold all their pho! its that good, the person in the last post is a joke for not coming back to try their soup. Oh well, more good pho for the REAL pho lovers
How can you be sold out of pho?. A few months ago I went to try this restaurant because I was intrigued by the name and I love pho. The day I went, they were apparently sold out of pho because of a party order (or something a long the lines). How can you be sold out of something that you are suppose to be known for? From that, I concluded that this place is a joke.
Waitress was terrible- the worst I’ve had in a long time. 1 other table of 2 people in the place and she still couldn’t remember things like plates, spoon for surving curry. Two at our table, asked one what he wanted to drink, then had to stop her from leaving so she could take other persons drink (and appetizer) order. Friend commented that chicken in curry was dry and tasted frozen, so I tried it and I agree. My vermicelli was fine, but overall a bad experience- there are other Vietnamese places in Newmarket with better food and less clueless service. Don’t bother with this place.
No tendon no tripe no go. I sit at home reading the menu I enjoy pho I will stay at home as the beef soup lacks traditional ingredients like: tendon which adds a full body flavor. The beef in Canada is superior to the old water buffalo they serve in Viet Nam. I have a gripe about no tripe too.
Just opened first Week of January 2014. We dropped by this family owned restaurant and were very happy with the food and the service. The owners are very friendly and catered to our every needs. This will be one of our favourite places to eat in the area
