Great authentic food, good service, great patio. The food was very good, service friendly and attentive, great view of the river and patio. Would recomend !
Nice view. Lousy! Nice location, that’s about it! atmosphere average. Ceasar salad was probably worst ever had. Pasta dishes very little flavor. Too bad but won’t go back! I predict they will be closed within 6 months. oh ya, overpriced wine and they were out of a couple. disappointed because Newmarket needs more good italian restaurants. boring menu.

Save your money. It’s such a shame because overall our food was good. Calamari was crispy and not oily. Arancini were just ok ….needed more flavor but there was 3 of them. Penne Ala vodka and gnocchi were good. Portions are typical for an Italian restaurant. It took 55 mins to even get a glass of water. 2 1/2 hours to get entrees. The manager who took 20 mins to come over when asked for and owner could care less. our server was sweet and apologetic and tried…it wasn’t her fault. I will not be back. When spending that kind of money you expect a certain standard and Sparro was so far below.
Worst experience. This is the worst restaurant I have ever been to. The service was awful and the food was Just ok. The worst part is that the manager and owner didn’t care less. you wouldn’t even know that the owner was there..He never came by our table to see how things were even though our group was visibly upset. After trying to explain that our service was awful the owner became argumentative trying to tell us that we were unreasonable. I will never go back to this restaurant again.
Refused service?. Arrived for a Saturday evening dinner, wanting to try the new restaurant in town. Despite there being several empty tables, the manager informed us that their kitchen was not staffed to accommodate us. There were two of us. Too bad. Based on this experience we won’t be back.
Liked it. Stopped in for lunch , had the pizza, fantastic, thin crust, really nice , would suggest to anyone.
