This is a great family friendly Scottish style pub, with a big selection of whiskey and beer.On Robbie Burn’s Day the have special ceremony complete with Haggis and bagpipes. The service is very friendly and the prices are reasonable.

Best pub in Newmarket. Typical British pub food, but done just better than everywhere else…just had sunday dinner for 4…prime rib, fish and chips, clubhouse, and a curry…all four of us loved our dinner…best scotch selection in town, and only pub serving both Tennents and Smithwicks…fun friendly staff…there is no pub in Newmarket or Aurora that compares, IMHO…
I voted I like this place because it is a cute little pub with a great drink selection, decent food and friendly service. I like that there are no TV’s. I have only sat at the bar so can only comment on the bartender / maid but the service can be slow at times since they are usually busy. I’ve seen the wait staff interact with guests and they are friendly. I would recommend and go back.
The food is exceptionally good and the priced are reasonable. The wait staff are always friendly and accommodating and the beer selection is vast. Decor is cozy & welcoming 🙂
Love these guys. Good food, good pints, good people. Robbie Burns night and Scotch nosings always fun too!
