Villa Risi. Four of us, each from different families, went here for dinner. All four of us did not eat our meals because they were ridiculously salty. Ruined our evening. $200.00 down and we had to get a bite to eat elsewhere.

Horrible. Go somewhere else.. Went to Villa Risi on Wednesday night. I don’t like to publicly complain, as I know this is someone’s lively hood, but I called the owner to give him a chance to redeem himself. He didnt accept. The service during our meal was friendly. My friends and I ordered appetizers which were ok. (Bruschetta, French onion soup, and Cesar salad). Our meals on the other hand were awful. Two of us ordered the fettuccine Natalia. The sauce was tasteless, there were no sundried tomatoes. (As stated in the menu) A couple pieces of mushroom. And about four tiny lumps of dried, old chicken. The meat couldn’t be chewed. My friend complained, no apology, just a confused look. We were in the restaurant for an hour, asked if we wanted dessert (no thanks!) handed our bills, paid. Our server and the hostess then stood at the door, staring at us, car keys in hand, while their cars were running in the parking lot. It was obvious they wanted to go home. Very uncomfortable and unwelcoming. My bruschetta, my pasta and two sprites with tip was $47. My other friend had spaghetti bolognese, Cesar salad, two glasses of Pinot Grigio, with tip $68. The other one had two sprites, french onion soup, and fettuccine Natalia, with tip $45. For $160, we could have done better!! We won’t be back…and the owner doesn’t care!!! Nice. (Brought mine home so I could take a picture).

New years eve at Villa Rissi. Food was tasteless desert still frozen. Very disapointing. Many people said they were very disappointed this year.

The best venue in York Region. I’ve read some reviews about this restaurant from really good to not so good but I diine here frequently about twice a month on average and have always had an excellent meal. Good service and fun ! There is no other venue in York Region that has the layout, the entertainment, the space for various private functions, a lounge all under one roof. Their pasta dishes are supurb! Being of Italian descent and growing up with homemade Italian food. This restaurant is the real deal in Italian food ! Its our favorite !!

Great Food, and Entertaining. My husband and I went to Villa Risi for our 10 year anniversary and we had an unforgettable time. Our food was great, and beautifully presented and served. We had their veal duxelle it was so good, and homemade fettuccine with salmon . The fettuccine tasted so fresh like my mom used to make at home. The atmosphere is really nice and to top it off, they have entertainment. A piano player and singer who were really good and played all different styles of music and they have a dance floor where people got up to dance. You have to check this place out. There is no other restaurant that Ive been to in York Region that is big like this one and has live music with a good size dance floor and good food and service. We love it !!!Claudia Vettese

A decade behind. Whilst I can’t complain about anything specific and the food and service were adequate, hold it that’s my complaint it is only adequate and lost in time. Good location and lot’s of unrealized potential.

How does this place survive?. Wow, I wish I could have saved my money and run this place like they do.Precooked pasta breaks appart Packaged Alfredo Sauce, not fresh like I makeCold veggiesTerrible atmosphere and service is terrible.Veal was terrible and everyone from our party of 12 had issues with food.Never again, next time I go to Tai Place in the plaza to the south.
