My family and I went to this restaurant last saturday. Their weekend price is $59 instead of the usual $49. The steak was alright, nothing special. Most of it are kinda dry. Service was very good though. We did enjoy our dinner but paying almost $300 for 4 people was just too much. I had the same steak buffet in Texas and we paid only $20 and you can tell the difference in the meat as it’s much fresher than what we had in Brasa.
So expensive and not worth it. It was $59 a person plus $20 in tax! A few of the meats were good but the majority were dry and lacking flavor. Also the buffet with sides was lacking in hot options and just things that go with the meats served in general (which kind of seems like the point). Our waiter seems annoyed he had to be there and was short and sarcastic. We dropped in because it is right up the hills from the Falls but wish we hadn’t- disappointing, especially for the price.
I love this place, always have a really good time. Ive really enjoyed the food every time I’ve been here. Definitely one of my favourite places to go
I came here on New Year’s day for a celebration with my family. From what I recall from a few years back, the buffet selection was larger. The buffet was…well just avoid it.There are salads, cold cuts, cheeses, and stews. They also have chimichurri, which makes a delicious accompaniment for the meat. You’re there for the meat. I advise you to not get full on mashed potatoes when you are paying for unlimited meat.During the visit before my last, I remembered the chicken wasn’t cooked thoroughly, so I steered clear of that. The cuts of beef are delicious. From what I can tell, the meats are submerged in a salty brine, so eat the INSIDE of the meat.I made the mistake of taking an ‘outside’ piece and it was so salty. As the night went on, I noticed the flavour of the meat going downhill, so I filled up on the delicious, juicy grilled pineapple.I believe I ate around a whole pineapple and a half that night. It is delicious. My cousin HATES pineapple, and this made her a believer. Our waiter, Joe, was really attentive. At first, no meat was coming to our table, but he started directing the men with the skewers our way. This is a fun experience but I won’t be back. It’s more of a ‘been there, done that’ thing.
Save your money!!! The service and quality of food is not worth anywhere near the $50 they charge. We were a large party of 11 ladies celebrating two birthdays and had countless complaints : from undercooked chicken thighs, to raw meat and raw cheese bread, and the staff didnt make it any better. We spoke to a few managers about the concerns and none were addressed. The only good thing about this place is the salad bar and that’s mostly because you serve yourself. We went on a Saturday night and they should have been on their A game. Not the case. I urge you to go anywhere else when in Niagara.
We picked Brasa for our anniversary dinner and couldn’t have been more pleased. The meat selections were cooked perfectly but my favorite offering was the grilled pineapple! The buffet of sides and salads was above average and everything that we sampled was delicious. I was particularly happy to see such a wide variety of pickled vegetables.
Every time I’m in Niagara Ieat here. It could be overwhelming! but if you love meat you definitely have to try it.Theyhave a variety of meat cuts and an amazing salad bar with so much to choose from. The gauchos (cowboys) bring themeat to your table when you turn your coaster green side up and you can flip it to red once you’ve had enough.Make sure you come really hungry! My all time favourite are the grilled bananas (at the salad bar) and the grilled pineapple (brought to your table by thegaucho)is to die for!! It’s a really fun experience and it’s not cheap but really great for any occasion if you’re up for it. My only slight complaintis the last couple times I’veate here the meat waspretty salty which I never noticed before.Sometimes it is and sometimes it’s not.Mention it to the waiter and they usually accommodate and bring out a fresh new cut when they can.
