Great atmosphere and view of the falls! A bit on the pricier size but well worth it! Warm, friendly and quick service when we walked in. Warm, fresh bread and fresh, delicious Cesar salad appetizer. The New York striploin was cooked to perfection, very tender and the loaded baked potato was to die for! Will definitely be returning on our next trip to Niagara Falls.
We love it! Food was awesome, large size serving, you’ll get your money’s worth. Dawn the server was nice & accommodating. Food came on time. Awesome view of the Canadian & US falls!
After wandering around the Niagara region looking for a unique restaurant for dinner I came across Canyon Creek. The wait staff were friendly and the atmosphere was very relaxing.I highly recommend the pasta dishes. They have a smokey taste to them, similar to fire roasted foods. Drinks are reasonably priced as well. All in all a great choice in a plethora of options.
Great Turn around. Went again with family – food was very good. Steak and Prime Rib was grilled to perfection. Only issue, the Caesar Salad dressing was VERY strong, a bit too overpowering with garlic. Definitely bring gum and mouth wash with you ;)28 Mar, 2014WAS good. We used to dine here quite often – however the last year or so the quality has been disappointing. What was once great food for a great price is now just okay average food for a high price (for the quality). Hopefully things improve as this is a great location and amazing view. *Fingers crossed* for a positive turn around.
Sad. Sunday nov.24 7 pm. Two years ago was our best place to dine about twice a month .aproximately one year ago two in a row poor meal eg. Dead greens in salad. Ordered large prime rib and get the leftover from the fixed price deal . Tryed again 27 nov. and not good! Should have known as only handful seated.In short Rib steak hard to find anything to eat as fat and sinue .To top it off the steak had a vinegar tast that made it unfit to eat .. Did not bug server as they shouldn’t take the brunt of complaints . Won’t be back any time soon. Hate to see another local business go by the wayside!
Left me cold. First, the good news. Very nice setting, well-appointed and comfortable restaurant and pleasant staff. Unfortunately we were there to eat: typical food from a chain restaurant. Extremely salty, rich excessive sauces and dressings. They did not get the message that sometimes less is more. The highly touted tuna appetizer was smothered in teriyaki sauce, my salad had so much rich vinegary dressing, it could not be eaten. The salad bowl was freezing – came right from the fridge.The bread loaf came frozen – rock solid! My wife’s steak was very good but very cold. The slim fries were covered in baked-on salt and cheese. Excessive. My ravioli was cold and not very fresh. Was probably frozen originally. The wine was good. That was my last visit to the chop house.
Great steak. good atmosphere. waitress Jules was probably best, most informative and honest server we’ve ever had.
