Great ambience, good food and pleasant service..all in all a lovely experience and yes, you will pay for all of it out of your wallet! So you better get there starving and binge on their delicious sea-food buffet spread !! This is a must try place if you are a fan of sea-food as they have an amazing spread of salads including mussels, prawns, crabs, squid , salmon and what not! But I wouldn’t recommend this place if you are not that into sea-food.
Hostess and waitress were very welcoming, but one of the meat servers would get upset if we didn’t properly turn over our ‘meat card’. Salad Bar was enjoyable, but nothing I couldn’t get elsewhere and for cheaper.
What a let down!. I have wanted to try this place for a long time… what a let down! Most of the staff we encountered starting with the hostess @ the front seemed to be someplace they’d rather not be. For starters – No reservations for couples on weekends, and despite the fact the place was only sparsely occupied we still had to wait over an hour for a table. They had a great salad bar, but I were was there for the meat – that is what they’re about, or is it? It’s just a money grab!! They heard you toward the bar for an hour or so $$$ and then off to this tantalizing Brazilian grilled meat extravaganza that was nothing more than a fantasy. The servers seem like they are in a different world – they slice off scant portions leaving you tantalizing wanting more and then they just stop coming…? It somehow felt like a RIP-OFF!
Terrible Service. This resturant’s service leaves much to be desired. My family waited approximately 15 minutes for a server. A table of four gentlemen had just sat down at the next table and the server came right over. No probl em Copa, we left and went to Brasa right away. The food was fantastic and the atmosphere and service was far superior. Give Copacabana a pass and go to Brasa!
Fantastic!. I’m sorry to see the amount of people complaining about the portions as there are approximately 24 different kinds of meat preparation and it is silly to think you are going to get an 8 ounce prime rib cut. Why would you not want to try everything!?! I was extremely pleased with the service. I found the same meats coming around 2 or 3 time in only one hour. They also offer to flag any of the meats you can’t get enough of and will come to your table more frequently with these selections. You need only to speak up lol. Exquisite salad bar too! The manager came around to ask how everything was and even saw us out when we left. Have been twice to this restaurant and will come back every time I go to Niagara Falls. Good job ladies and gentlemen!
Fantastic food! Fun place. My boyfriend took me here for my birthday. He considers this his favourite restaurant and I can see why. I am by no means a meat fanatic but even I was blown over by the deliciousness of the food. The buffet was great. The lasanga was yummy. The meat was phenomenal. I especially liked the parm steak, prime rib, top sirloin and chicken drumstick. The meat is top quality and extremely flavourful and tender. I also went bananas for the deep fried bananas and cornbread. It can get pretty loud. There was live music which is always nice. The female dancers were interesting at best and raunchy at worst. They looked as though they belonged at the sun downer (strip club). Definitely not a place for kids, even though we did notice some when we went which was pretty strange… We had great service and really enjoyed ourselves. It is very pricey, but worth it for those special occasions.
Made a reservation on opentable for 5pm when they open. I am making this point cause it might be the basis of all my problems. As this is a buffet I would expect things to be ready when you open the doors. Unfortunately this was not the case. The buffet had very little put out with no breads. The hot foods were non existent and when we asked the manager when they would be out he was unsure. Our waitress, Stephanie was FABULOUS!!! she was the only reason we stuck around and in fairness we are glad we did for her service… She was extremely attentive. She watches her tables from a distance and doesn’t need to do unnecessary Rounds while we are being served meat. Her ability to upswell on drinks was well worth this x rated heaven in a glass…We also had one of the meat servers take a personal interest in us trying the very best they have to offer… His name was George. He made sure when we liked something. We got it! Great service!Unfortunately, we missed out on some things by the time we were full. Cornbread, pineapple, and some of the sweet breads. It was extremely unfortunate. Overall the service was great at the table but planning and preparation for a buffet who was 1/2 full at opening just seemed like bad management. Try this place out. Just be warned when to NOT show up.
