We have been dining at Copacabana, Niagara Falls for morethan 10 years. We go there repeatedly because of the overall experience of goodfood, music and ambience. On Friday, August 12th, we reached there at 6 p.m. Werequested a table for 5 and were seated on the patio as per our request. Wetold the hostess that our 3 friends are visiting from overseas and were currentlyviewing The Falls and that they would join us shortly. We were planning to havea few drinks while waiting for them. We were rudely told to either leave or sitat the bar since there was a maximum 2 hours seating allowed on the patio. Wewere also told that a table may not be available when our friends arrived. Wesat at the bar for an hour till our friends arrived and then luckily we got atable on the patio. We paid a bill of $400 for drinks and dinner for 5 people.We feel that this rule of two hours should not be applicable to returningcustomers or customers who are spending on drinks. The behaviour of the staffwas very insulting. Needless to say we will not be visiting again.
