There is nothing to say about the foods and desert. I’m hoping for more choice of vegetable & salad. The place is all about the view of the Falls it’s feel like watching from heaven. Love the view!!
We went to the falls view buffet Nov 4 to celebrate my Husbands Birthday. Firstly a lot of the food looked dried out . You have to lift the lids and hold them open to serve yourself. Well, when you open the lids hot steam escapes and burns you. I opened a lid and burnt my arm to the point of having to rush into the bathroom and apply cold water. Needless to say we ended up leaving ( me in tears due to the pain in my arm.
Pricey, but generally good. This is a buffet-style restaurant with a really wide selection of excellent foods. Kids eat free when you buy one adult buffet at certain times of the day (dinner for sure, maybe breakfast but I can’t recall). They don’t have any options for vegetarians/vegans who want to get some protein. There is just an okay view of the falls – you can get a much better view from the restaurant inside the falls visitor centre. I received excellent, friendly service from the servers there. Overall, it was a good experience. Was I blown away by anything I had to eat that evening? No. The food was decent, but not outstanding. Would I ever pay $34.95 before tax for a meal like this again? Probably not, unless I had a kid with me to make the deal a bit sweeter.
