Went here last night before going to the Rocky Horror live musical show in Niagara Falls- They do it yearly at the Oh Canada Eh Theater to raise $ for positive living ( btw- It is a fantastic show)Atmosphere- When we entered the restaurant it is welcoming .First thing you see is the display of tiny bite size desserts ( Sadly we didn’t have time for those ) There are a couple of large seating areas as well as a bar and a pizza open brick oven to watch pizzas being made. Very cozy even though you are in a large restaurant.Food- We started with the goat cheese dip – spinach and artichokes served with baked pita bread triangles.. The dip was good and served hot, however, the pita chips were burned to a crisp, hard and serve cold. ( We were in a hurry to get to the show so we just ate the dip in the nice loaf of bread they brought to the table instead. The bread came with an oil and spices to dip – everyone liked the flavour. I had my dip on it, The butternut squash soup was ordered x 2 at my table. Both of my friends liked the thinner consistency of the soup compared to the thicker ones served in other places. They also both gave a thumbs up for flavour. The house salad with balsamic dressing and the pecan apple salad were also tried with good reviews by my friends. Our mains included – 2 x Johnny Rocco pizza – Really good but far too large for one person to eat. I suggest sharing this for dinner. I especially liked the fresh olives and prosciutto which makes this dish a stand out. The Angus burger and fries were just ok. I guess that is what my husband gets for ordering a hamburger in an Italian restaurant.. The one appealing thing on this dish was the fried pickle it came with. The last pasta was described as very good and done el dente perfecto.Service- We let them know we were going to a show and this place ( although full ) had our meals out extremity timely and our waitress was fantastic. We could see her running the whole time we were there but she still managed to check on us regularly. I would go back.

The Worst Italian ever!!!. I’m not sure why people like this place, went there for the first time tonight and it was disgusting!! The worst sauce ever!! So sweet, I would have rathered ragu!! If you want great Italian go to Cappola’s not here! The sauce was super sweet, the balsamic dressing is not homemade, the mussels were crap and the rice ball were gross!! Fast food Italian, gross!!
