Best sushi in the Niagara Region. I am so thankful that I found this place.. I’m a sushi lover, and I was not happy that I had to travel to Toronto every time I wanted decent sushi. I was unhappy with all of the sushi restaurants in the area…and I have tried them ALL, in my search for a good sushi place. That’s why I was elated to find this gem in Niagara Falls. It’s a small place, but the food is very good. Yes, I have had better sushi in my lifetime. But, having said that, it is sure to satisfy your craving for sushi and leave you satisfied. And also, the service is great. I would certainly recommend!
Hmm!. Usually excellent. I don’t know if it’s because were into tourist season, but wasn’t so good to-night.Took a long time to get an appetizer (maybe 45 minutes). We usually get a miso soup, but none to-night.Our main meal usually fills our plate and you have a hard time finding a spot for a bowl of rice, but there was lots of room for the rice this time. We had to ask twice for the rice and got 2 small bowls, equal to the usual amount we usually get in one bowl.It’s very important to get some starters out there fast when people come into a restaurant.I had to leave here and stop by McDonald’s to fill me up. Not what you expect after paying $80 for a meal. Very disappointing. May be awhile before we go back here.

EXCELLENT!. Michinoku always has the freshest ingredients….Quailty over quantity!! The staff is always great and personable. I love getting take out or dining in…BEST SUSHI IN NIAGARA FALLS! You have to try their chicken teryaki roll, anything you get from here is going to be super delicious!!
Pleasant surprise. Having been told that we wouldn’t find a sushi restaurant in NF like Toronto, we were pleasantly surprised to eat at Michinoku. The menu isn’t as vast as others but the food was good, especially their hot-pot, service was prompt and courteous and pricing was reasonable.We’ll be back.
