We took the ultimate food and wine tour, best decision ever! We were promptly picked up at our hotel. The tour guide was amazing. We picked up the other guests and went to the first stop. The knowledge of the tour guide was exceptional. We looked at the grape vines as he told us about them. We went inside for a great tasting and ample food to pair with the wine. We had plenty of time to shop for the delicious wines we tasted. They had an area on the van to keep anything you purchased. We went on to see three other vineyards. The food was incredibly delicious with ample portions. Dessert was Fantastic! Hand picked by the tour guide. Now let’s talk about beer. My hubby is not a wine drinker (although he found some he liked like the incredible ice wines), so he was thrilled with the brewery part of the tour! The beer flights were terrific! Also you received an incredible sandwich and slaw to go with it. The cost of the tour is so reasonable based solely on the amount of food and wonderful full tastings you received! Plus you get invaluable information from your tour guide as well as the private tours you go on at each winery. We were visiting from the USA and all my fellow Americans need to do this tour! Just remember the cost is in Canadian dollars, so it’s a great value! Canadian natives are lucky they have this wonderful tour in their backyard. I whole heartedly recommend this tour, and I’ve been on many. Just do it and you will be as thrilled as we were.
