Rubys is cookie cutter so you can expect equal experiences no matter where you are. Well that unless you are in Niagara Ontario. Started out pleasant enough but found ourselves with a bee and lots of flies. My wife ordered a chicken sandwich with avocado & the salad bar. I had the jalapeo burger, er hockey puck. Wife was not all that pleased with the taste of the salad bar. Chicken was ok but the avocado turned out to be grocery store guacamole. Just to make matters worse, our waitress visited us 4 times. To order, to deliver, to drop the check, and to get paid. Im sorry but the wait and lack of service demanded no tip, and I do feel for waitstaff and what they go through.
Not bad. Situated in the heart of Clifton hill, it is in a very lively area. The ambience is not very good, but passable. The roof-top seating is excellent in the summer and fall. The service is a little on the slow side. The food is average at best. But the location and the roof-top makes up for a lot of it. The music is light and in the background, making for a wonderful location to sit and chat away. Visited a few times. Never had a bad experience. Watched the Sunday fireworks from the roof top on one occasion. If you don’t want to wait out in the crowd, this is a nice place to just sit back, sip a beer and enjoy.

Takes the beer and pours it into another glass! What the hell?! Went over and told him in a very stern way that I saw that and did not want that beer and wanted a fresh one. Did not bother to order food at this point. Totally pisses off. While sitting drinking the new beer I noticed the restaurant chairs and cabinet doors at the work station were filthy with built up grime. Gross! Wont go back!!
