Very disappointed.. Went to this tgifs wanting some wing around 930. We were seated promptly. that was about it. We left the restaurant 10 minutes later. We never saw our waiter or waitress. Outback was much better service on a slow sunday night.
Exorbitant prices, standard food. The food was standard for TGIFridays. Decent taste, decent portions, decent menu. Call ahead for take out or you will be there for 45 minutes but half my food was cold anyway. The big problem with this particular restaurant is in the prices. The prices were very high and as far as I can tell the only reason for the price hike was in the location. Here’s a tip for anyone in that area, head to the Flying Saucer on Lundy Lane and get a great meal at a great price with fantastic service. Skip this TGIs and save your money for the great attractions at Niagara Parks.
Good meat, bad greens. While the JD platter, and the chicken in the Shanghai salad were very good the lettuce in the salad, and that in the house salad suggested a best before date of last week. NOT fresh at all! Then soaking it the cilantro lime dressing did nothing to improve it!
RUN!!!. Pass on this place. it was just crappy. Expensive, poor quality, little quantity. Possibly the worse TGI Fridays I’ve ever been to. But on a positive note, the staff were really nice.
We were at TGIF at the embassy suites in Niagara Falls this evening and wanted to share our experience.I ordered French onion soup and the strawberry field salad and a top shelf martini. The drink was excellent. Server was average in attentiveness and friendliness. My soup came and it was incredibly salty. The server walked by at few times and didn’t ask how it was. We flagged her down and asked if she could replace the soup with broccoli. She did this quickly and although still fairly salty it was much better than the French onion. Salad came shortly after with my husbands fajitas. Salad dressing was nice flavor but salad was drenched in dressing. Candied pecans are chopped not whole- a disappointment. Strawberry was sparse. Chicken was cooked nicely. Overall not an impressive salad and very overpriced for what it was. Server did ask if dinner was okay but I felt bad sending back both orders so said it was okay. I mentioned after dinner it was way overdressed. My sons burger was way overcooked. All in all, I’ve had better meal (salad and burgers) apart from the chicken at Wendy’s and paid less than half as much. Pretty disappointed. Nobody offered a reduction on the bill for the substandard food.
Not great. Over priced and food was mediocre. Eat somewhere else!
