Liked it but probably wouldn’t go back. Went on a double date. For the app, my boyfriend and I had the mozza sticks. Wasn’t impressed, poor presentation. 10 small mozza sticks, and the marinara sauce was served in a plastic container (very cheap) and it was expensive! For the main, I was actually impressed. Had the cajun pasta. The portion was so big, I took it home and it fed me 4 meals (it was very filling, so I didn’t need much.) The service was average.The food was pretty average and the prices were high.
TGI Fridays or The Ritz?. Unbelievably high prices ! I couldn’t believe the prices they were asking for mediocre food. We very nearly left before ordering. Standard steaks are C$25. Prices are probably twice the price as in the USA. We only stayed as we found a ‘cheap’ burger for around C$12. Service was slow and food was pretty standard. This place isn’t The Ritz in London so why charge the same prices. I’m guessing they don’t get a lot of repeat business!!
Lunch was overpriced and food mediocre to bad. Broccoli and cheese soup had to be sent back because it was luke warm and it took ten minutes for a new bowl to appear (at least of was hot this time). Server pleasant but sloooooow. Avoid at all costs.
Ridiculously over priced. The food was nothing special. I got deep fried beans because I like wasabi and that was the dip. They didn’t have wasabi and gave me ranch. The beans were soggy and flavourless. I ate two and put it at the end of the table. The server didn’t ask about it or how the food was in general. I also got chicken and steak fajitas and was not impressed with the amount or the taste. For $25 I expect it to wow me. The fact that the server didn’t even ask how things were shows that they don’t care about your experience. The restaurant was not busy. I do not recommend this restaurant at all.
NEVER EVER AGAIN!. Absolutely horrendous floor manager. When we arrived she was sitting with a friend drinking. Steak according to the menu doesn’t mean a thing. I asked for medium and one side was well and the rest raw and cold. The waitress said this is not right. A second steak came and was charred on the outside and raw dripping blood throughout. Disgusting! The waitress said the bill was on them according to the manager. When we went to leave the manager argued with us about the definition of a medium steak. Obviously doesn’t know what the menu says! Or how a medium steak is cooked. Oh yeah my husband is a Chef. Not impressed at all! Do not waste your time going to this establishment. The waitress should take over as manager as she seemed to know how to treat customers and knows what a raw steak is verses a medium done one!
After a long day at the great wolf lodge, our party of 9 including two small kids decided to go to tgi Fridays. We were served by K who was training M, we were told we are getting two-for-one servers for the night. Our orders were straight forward and we were ready to order almost right after we sat down. We sat down at 7:20, food came to the table at 8:30. Two orders of burgers took another ten minutes to come to the table and they were both cold?!? Told the trainee server about it and she brought them back I the kitchen. About five minutes later, I swear, the same two barely warm burgers came out and were placed down with hot fries. It took so long, I had to ask for change to go top up the parking meter. Don’t eat here! Service is terrible, prices do not reflect the quality of the food, and the food was poor. Throughly disappointed and will never be back.
Nothing special. The service was good. I got a free dessert because I was a little tipsy and knocked my glass with my plate. Too expensive for what it is
