Great view, mediocre food. This Keg offers great views of the falls. But, We’ve been to many Kegs especially in Toronto and this one, just doesn’t measure up to others. The food was average and the steaks were certainly not up to the quality of most Kegs we’ve been to in the past. It wasn’t even terribly busy when we went. My wife steak was lukewarm when it came out. Overall worth it once for the view but not up to the Kegs usual standards.
Hidden prices. Had dinner just an hour ago, very disappointed by the way they served our order, we order Prime rib 24oz and told the waitress that we’re just splitting it cause its very big, our order came in one big plate and the waitress just put it at the middle of our table didn’t give us plates, we’re expecting that they’re going to split it for us in a separate plate but they didn’t and when the waitress came back we ask for plates but she only gave us one so I end up eating my half steak in a small plate. So surprised to be bilked $90 for that crappy service that we got!
Short of perfect!. Definitely deserves way more than a 60%! Dined here last summer and started out kind of rough as we ended up being seated later than people who arrived after us by accident, BUT the manager came out and personally apologized and also offered us the table with the greatest view! Service was incredible!! Very friendly servers and staff. Restaurant was also very very clean: no smudges on any utensils, dishes, or cups. Food is always great at the Keg no matter the location, just prime stuff! Everything was cooked to perfection and on time. I’m not a seafood fan but the lobster was so delicious. It was extremely busy but they still managed to be on top of things and not make you feel any of the pressure. A bit pricey depending on what you order, however it’s so worth it. 20 out of 10 stars!!
My husband and I were staying at the Embassy Suites, so we decided to try The Keg. Our view was amazing, and the food was amazing as well. My husband had the Filet Mignon and I had the Bleu Cheese Filet. We got the chocolate cake for dessert, which was not nearly as good as the steaks. I would definitely recommend this place anybody!
Don’t get no betta than this. Top notch service, mind blowing view of the falls, and aged steaks cooked to perfection and screaming of quality. I wasent expecting this much from a $30 steak. But they truly exceeded my expectations.
WORST PLACE EVER! SAVE YOUR MONEY!. The waiters are AMAZING, very polite and helpful, but the food, is SHIT! Complete crap. Me and my friend are a HUGE keg fan, and were very excited to go there. Once our food came, the teriyaki sirlon was filled with salt! Like literally, it felt like they pored a bucket full of salt so i complained. I asked for well done, it was cooked rare, and i asked for mashed potatos and they gave me the other kind. They asked they will make another one for me, it tasted WORSE!!! I can’t believe i was seeing this. My friend, his food was suppose to be medium rare, his food was BLOODY RARE! HORRIBLE HORRIBLE FOOD! I expected SO much more from this place. They ended up not charging for our food, but even when we got home we threw it away. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY AND TIME!!
I agree with the previous comments about this place. First you wait to be seated for like 2 hours, then it takes a waitress to come another 20 min, then it takes another 40 min if not more for the food to come . For the price you pay you expect nice service , polite waitresses but you get none of this.. They just look tired and unhappy .. I think if you go to TGIF you will get much better service , and you pay 5 times less. I honestly have no idea why people wait for 2 hours to get into this place . I will not visit this place again ever .
