I ordered 2 subs for delivery and it came to $27.10…no big deal but the delivery driver told me it was $29.20. When i questioned him, he shrugged his shoulders and told me it was 29.20…so i gave him 35 with tip included and my damn receipt said $27.10. So he ripped me off and my expensive steak sub had mushrooms and onions after i told them i only wanted certain things on my sub. So sub was disgusting and i got ripped off!…. BE CAREFUL!!
I went here after a beautiful day at the Falls. It is a few blocks away and parking is free there. It was hot and we wanted a patio.Atmosphere- Yeah! They have a large patio and that is where we sat. I didn’t look inside so i can not comment on that part. The place was nice but while we were eating a seagull sat on the fence and when a young boy left to go to washroom swooped and took his pizza.Food- Started with Caesar and Zappis salads- Both nice starts. Then we ordered the following- 1) Eggplant lasagna- 4 people ordered this and 4 people were happy with their order. A lot of cheese and the sauce is crushed tomatoes with a symphony f herbs and spices making the reminiscent of going to a friends Italian Mama’s sauce. 2) White Pizza ( A house favourite- our waiter recommended it) It was sooo good with a ton of olives and feta. 3) BBQ pizza- Excellent 4) Canadian Pizza- Loaded with toppings 5) pork stuffed peppers over penne- Excellent sauce is on everything 6) spaghetti and meatball- My husband loved it and he doesn’t usually eat tomato sauce. The sauce here really is good.Service- We had a large group and our waiter was hopping. When the pizza was taken by the seagull the restaurant replaced it. A gold star for Zappis!Impression- Thhere is no question. i would go back for sure.
Slow service! We waited an hour for a pizza and two pasta dishes. The restaurant had maybe two other tables! We could see the kitchen from the table and the staff were moving at a snail’s pace. They forgot to remove the onions from our salad and forgot our garlic bread. I ordered a large bottle of San Pellegrino and the girl put it on ice because it wasn’t refrigerated: she filled the ice container so full that it overflowed and flooded our table. Our table was soaked and we couldn’t touch the ice bucket without more spilling over. Not the best restaurant experience. Positives: food taste was above average. Waitress was friendly. Restaurant is clean.
