Pork Katsu Don. Generous portion. Meaty. But with spots of soggy katsu. That just made the crispy portions all the more delicious.18 Oct, 2014Unagi Nagayaki. Grilled eel. A little bit over charred but I didn’t mind it. Tasty. Feels like it could’ve used just a small amount of rice, but then I guess I should’ve ordered the nigiri if I wanted that.

Best Sushi in Niagara Region. This restaurant is small, charming, and the staff is amazing.The food is 100% authentic Japanese style sushi. Its not all you can eat but far more than worth it!I have been going for years. Amakara stands superior in quality, flavours, and authenticity to all others in Niagara Region. All of their rolls are spectacular, so you are safe there. The pork dumplings are like no other! Soft and delicate. If you are looking for a heartier dish, try the Steak don, (medium rare is always great) Perfectly cooked slices of steak atop cool lettuce and warm sushi rice drizzled in some sort of gingery sauce. DELICIOUS. Pan fried chicken Udon noodles are to die for as well! The mountain of noodles you get are perfect for two and come out on a sizzling platter. Everything here is TOP QUALITY at a reasonable price and FRESH. If you love sushi, you will be impressed. 100%.

I have been going to this restaurant ever since I was a baby! They have delicious and fresh sushi!!!!! For me this is the best sushi place ever!!!! It is not a super fancy restaurant but it is comfortable and has a warm feeling to the entire restaurant. This is a spectacular place and I would recommend it to anyone!!! I took my friends who thought sushi would be gross and they absolutely loved it!!!! Try this place it’s great
Normally I like this restaurant but the most recent experience was awful! We ordered take out for delivery and waited 40 minutes. They called back to get our address again. We waited 40 more minutes and they called again to find out what our order was. It was at this point we decided to cancel our order and just go somewhere else.
