I really enjoy the Bansaree! Friendly service, and flavourful food.
Garbage food. We ordered 2 dishes, no taste, para lack paneer was palak separate and paneer separate, homemade paneer, burnt, chopped palak with no taste or flavour, ordered jalfarezi, it was like onions sauted in tomato paste, not taste, no spice, what a waste of $35. Will never go again, even a street hawker makes better food, this was the MOST HORRIBLE Indian food anyone can make, to top it the owner claims to be in business for 25 years, what a pity to patrons , please do not waste your money and time.
Food was amazing. Decor a bit outdated. Had to wait a bit for the food, but that was probably because it was made fresh and therefore worth it! Also, they sometimes have pretty interesting and cost effective specials.
AWFUL!. Used to love this little casual, authentic place. Last 3 visits have been increasingly disappointing. Might be new owners, but never again.
Love this place!. This is one of my favourite restaurants in St. Catharines! The food is always consistently high quality and the service is personal and friendly. I would highly recommend the Sunday buffet lunch and make sure you try Bansaree’s excellent mango lassi.
Worst of the worst. This is possibly the worst indian restaurant i have ever been to in my life. Absolutely atrocious.
Wonderful food. I go every chance I get. Their butter chicken is awesome. Anyone trying a new ethnic food as take-out should rethink their ordering strategy. They would have also known that the inedibly cleanser was actually a traditional breath freshener called Mukhwas. If you can’t appreciate a cultural cuisine, you should not criticize what you do not know.
