Greasy , yucky, Buffalo chips are a unique item but so soaked in grease..the menu never changes in years, would be nice for a little more variety, left without eating last time, better to go for a drink and socialize in the evening,,food? BOOO..
South End Tavern Food. Cat’s offers what I have referred to in the past as American style tavern food. While another restaurant I reviewed has the same feel, the difference between Cat’s and some of those other restaurants is that Cat’s does change up their menu from time to time. This could be a good thing or a bad thing, depending on what you liked on the previous menu and if it’s still there. Overall, I know what I am getting a Cat’s and have never had any menu item that wasn’t what was described or cooked poorly. They know they are a tavern style restaurant and they do it well.
Took my family here. Everyone enjoyed it.
Way over cooked burger. Had lunch here and press box salad was very good, but my burger was way over cooked – completely dried out. Couldn’t even finish it.
Mis leading. It says they are open late all week. But they actually close at 10 PM sunday. That is no different than many restaurants who actually tell the truth.
Dinner took too long. Too long
Disappointing new menu. We used to bring our family here, since it was one of the few places that told us they were safe for people with nut allergies. The new menu states plainly that this is no longer the case. We can’t all eat there anymore.The new menu looks like it was put together by someone with a little knowledge and good intentions but that’s it. Some favourites are still there, but others are gone or changed. We were disappointed.
