Went for lunch with a friend on my birthday. Quesadillas were SO GOOD. Not enough sour cream, and the portion was small. The rice was tasty, but cold! Prices were very reasonable. Service was excellent. Will go again.
I visited St. Catherines in the summer of 2015.Off a busy street, the decor looked authentic, like I was in Mexico.The restaurant provides house-made chips and salsa on the house, which was delicious.I ordered the lunch special with an 8 inch burrito filled with beef, rice, beans, lettuce with a side of salad in a house vinaigrette ($9). This was probably one of the smallest and skinniest burritos I have ever eaten at the Mexican restaurant, but it was flavourful.I would recommend ordering off the regular menu instead, as my husbands enchilada dish was my favourite dish with 3 baked rolls filled with chicken with guajillo chili and tomato sauce, served with rice and beans. Disappointing. We live right near the restaurant and always see it pretty busy, so we’ve been trying to get down there for a while, and I love Mexican food, so couldn’t wait. I had the veggie Burrito and it was extremely bland.The salad it came with just had some kind of oil and the rice was bland and oily. Very disappointed. When my husband was done his chicken quesidila, he had the other half of my burrito and said it was way more flavourful than his. Wouldn’t recommend unless you prefer very bland food.
Hit or miss. I’ve had fabulous food here and I’ve had terrible food here. One night I sent a steak back because it tasted pretty funky (and it wasn’t the seasoning – it had gone off). But that can happen. I love the nachos, and the atmosphere is nice. Service is sometimes very slow. Watch the bill if you debit. They still round up the amount as though you’re paying cash. It’s a penny. But it’s still not supposed to happen. It’s just lazy on their part.
Good Food, Great Service. Ate there once for lunch with a friend, great food, the guac was delish! Our waitress was very friendly and attentive, will go again 🙂

Awesome food. One of the best Nachos with beef we’ve ever had. Also ordered the chicken fajitas. Very fresh. I forgot to say no cilantro on anything because I am not fond of it at all but have to say it was all great food. Steve was also a great attentive server and very friendly.
