Best chinese food in st. catharines. Best i have had. eaten here about 50 times and its always fresh and amazing. never missed anything and i get take out everytime.

Very surprised… My fianc and I would always pass by this place when running errands and finally decided to try it and absolutely fell in love. The portions are huge, the service is fast (order 40-50$ worth of food…ready in 15 minutes..cant beat that), and the prices are extremely reasonable for the amount and quality of food. Plus I love the containers they put the food in! makes it super convenient to store leftovers 🙂 I’ve only had one bad experience there with one of the workers being a bit snarky with me but reading other reviews if its the same person she seems to be like that with everyone…but everyone else that works there are super nice!Note: I think they recently changed how they prepare their spicy dishes…so if it says spicy…you’re getting exactly that. I normally could handle the general tso’s chicken (comparable spice to maybe what a mild chicken wing would have) now its definitely hot!
Omg. So good. We are new to the area (from the US), and we have had a lot if ups and downs finding take out food that we like. We like Hibachi Cafe as well, but they have closed for 2 months. I think we will def continue to stick with China Garden. The food does taste fresh, and is very similar to what we are used to in the states. The general tsos was actually spicy! (Yum!) Their menu has tons of options. If I can figure out how to upload pics, I’ll put it on here.
DO NOT GET THE LEMON CHICKEN!!!! It sucks ass. Everything else is good! 🙂
I had heard about this place and was recommending it to everyone I knew once I tried it. However, I recently ordered the deep fried shrimp and upon biting into one, found that none of them had been deveined. I then called the restaurant and told them what happened and their response was hardly apologetic and came with an offer of 10% off of my next order. Looks like I’m going to have to look for a new Chinese takeout spot.
