Worse italian restaurant in the city. Servers are ruder than rude. prices are high and the atmosphere was very unpleasant.
Always great food and great service. When I saw the reviews Coppola’s got on Google I just had to write a review here( not on Google bc I didnt want to bother downloading the Google map app). Coppola’s was rated just half a star above Johnny Rocco’s. Are you kidding me!! Rocco’s is really just a higher energy Eastside Mario’s in terms of food. It’s all pre- prepared Sysco food. It also got the same stars as Lina Linguine’s I like Lina’s but again not nearly the quality and creativity of Coppola’s. Also in the maybe 50 times we’ve been there the service has never been anything but stellar. We’ve brought lots of friends there and they love it. Now the restaurant atmosphere is dreary and depressing and the ancient silk ivy strewn everywhere is not pretty. Neither is the hideous upholstery of the chairs. I think they’re trying to update but they took the booths out of their large room and that hasn’t helped either. However the food and service is way too great not to make this your go to casual Italian spot!
Nothing bad to say…. The first time I went to Coppola’s I only went because I had gotten a gift card for it…but both my fianc and I were extremely pleased. I’m an extremely picky eater when it comes to italian food, especially sauce and I think theirs is great. Not sure why people say it tastes like it comes out of a can… The portions are also great for the price you pay. I recently went again with a group of 15 (which they amazingly accommodated on a Friday night) and the service is exactly what anyone should expect with such a large group. App’s came out shortly after ordering them, server always came by to see if we needed drinks…main meals took a bit longer but for it being a friday night and having such a large group it was not unreasonable by any means….everyone loved it. Definitely recommend it!
EXCELLENT RESTAURANT/FOOD AND STAFF. I had to say something after reading the last few comments!?! This place does not deserve such ridiculous reviews. I have been going to this restaurant since it first opened over 13 years ago. I loved it from the day I walked in. In fact I loved it so much that I had my wedding there at the banquet hall. The staff is amazing the owners are amazing and the food is the best I have ever had from apps to desserts! The staff is very professional they do not only think of themselves. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone and I do encourage you go.
Italians out eating. The worst experience ever. Not sure who this owner thinks he is but he really needs to sharpen hisskills in public relations. Total moron. No class at all. Anyway dont waste yourmoney in his place go to macdonalds is better than this wannabe Italian Restaraunt. Seriously really bad experience. I will never recommend to family friends or anyone. Please just drive by you will be happy you did.
Food is ok. Place is shady.
Sauce from a can. Went with a work party (20-30 ppl) – took 2 hours to get our Apps.Food was OKAY IF you like Ragu pasta sauce and on-sale pasta. It was gross – not too many people actually ate their food (but then again Lunch @ 3pm is a bit late).I ordered the Potato Croquette which was food but their ‘ marinara sauce’ was gross and Pollo Parmigiana (Chicken Parm) again was okay but that tomato sauce OMG. I haven’t eaten cheap Italian food like that EVER not even in college. If you’re a family Italian restaurant learn to MAKE your own pasta sauce and honestly, opening a can/jar or Ragu doesn’t count.
