Me and the wife come here about twice a month. Cheap food, no complaints. Service is standard. Prefer the lady waitress over the guy we think she’s the manager maybe??? I usually get my steak fix it’s cheap not too much spice not too bloody and marinade is alright. Don’t expect steak from a high class restaurant but for what it’s worth it suits me just fine. Wife likes the 2 piece fish I take the leftovers for work the next day. Had the cheesecake once and it was good homemade I think. Veggies are tasty we like the cabbage it’s a nice change. Inside is nostalgic feels like you are sitting in an old museum but it doesn’t bother us there’s always crap to look at kinda neato. Good place for a cheap date or dinner that won’t break the bank.
If anyone is EVER considering going to the Heritage Restaurant on Geneva St., don’t. They have the worst server there, Davey who has the worst attitude. I went with my parents for Mother’s Day. He was curt, and short clipped answers. Forgot to bring a salad that was ordered. We got the surf n turf special. When asked how the meal is, we said it would have been nice to have a tender lobster tail and a hot steak. The waiter answered YOU DID! And walks away. Who does that?!? Seriously?! How can people like this keep a job… It’d been 5 years since our last bad experience there. No more chances. There are nicer restaurants to go to around here.
