We have been going there for a good bit of time, and in the last sixish months or so it is going to the dogs and even they would turn there noses up. Waiting staff is far and above most of the restaurants I have been too. The food is never consitent, seems like there is only one cook who can be consistent, and he is the big blonde hair fella, I believe he is the son. Today we where in and it took half an hour or more to bring the meal. Too bad, because this was a good little spot.
Great service, decent wait times even when busy. The specials have been amazing the past few weeks, potatoe pancakes and waffels we 2 of my favs. The banana bread French toast is TO DIE FOR!
Try a Different Place. This place has really great service, I will give them that. I used to be a regular, because my friends all liked to go, and the service is very good. They need to refill the coffee more- I should never have to ask for more coffee in a breakfast place-but other than that they are spot on.The food, however, is where this place fails. Sometimes the food is fresh and delicious, and sometimes it is old and stale. The french fries are pretty flimsy and greasy- nothing like how a french fry should be. I’ve had the buffalo chicken wrap a few times, and it is basically a cooked from frozen chicken finger that is tossed in hot sauce and wrapped with lettuce and cheese. It has a sort of sweet flavour, but it is not like a delicious spicy sweet flavour, it tastes tacked on- lkind of like adding sugar to Frank’s and expecting to get complexity, when really you’re just getting Frank’s with a little sugar. The poutine is also pretty terrible because they use grated mozzarella/ cheddar cheese mixture instead of a cheese curd, and they use a canned beef gravy. That honestly would be fine (That is what MJ’s poutine is, sans the cheddar, but MJ’s has good fries) except when you add in the floppy, under seasoned greasy fries, it just ends up inedible. When they have their banana bread french toast on the menu, it is very good!Their standard black and white classic breakfast is OK.
So great. We’ve gone for breakfast a few times in the last month since we found this place. It’s really delishious and such a great price!Heading there today to try lunch!

Good, Not My Favourite. It’s fun but sometimes I’m looking for a ketchup mayo burger. Not for dieters… And every visited the bathroom chalkboards on the stall doors! Fun.
What can go wrong with a BLT ? How about raw bacon and very burnt toast . This was my second bad meal there . I’m done with the place
