Amazing as always!!!! Thank You Lina Linguini’s!!. I grew up in St. Catharines. My brother grew up working at Lina’s and Fresco’s so we ate there often. I have been living in Waterloo for about 10 years now. My brother had a birthday yesterday so we celebrated at Lina’s. It is amazing walking through the door again. It has changed slightly in design since my last visit but the hospitality and amazing food was still top notch. The unlimited salad you receive before an entree is as fantastic as I had remembered. My pasta was unreal. I could have licked the bowl. Gus is still working as hard as always ensuring everyone is comfortable and happy but does it with rare charm. Everyone he seats feels special. He has made every one of my kids feel so special. In Waterloo, to receive a personal touch like that by the owner is rare. Missy was our server, she is amazing! Roberto, the chef came out to greet us and ensure all was to our liking. He surpassed our expectations. Thank you Burto!!! I write this because this pocket of joy has been a part of my life for years. When you revisit things from the past you often find they are much different then you remember. Lina’s is as amazing as always if not better!!! Thank you for such a great night to all at Lina’s!!! Michelle
Had an amazing dinner there last night. The two of us ordered the chicken prosciutto penne and it was to die for. Any description I give couldn’t possibly do it justice. You should definitely try it for yourself. Be sure to bring your appetite since the portions are big. You will have leftovers for the next day. Our server informed us of their buffet on Wednesday nights and Sundays for brunch so we will definitely be trying that out as well.
Always have a great dinner here. Was raised in italian home and find the food here to be authentic and tasty. Atmosphere always great. Chic bar area or family-friendly dining room (and kids menu too!). Reasonably priced wine by the bottle and killer desserts!
Lunch. Ohhhhh my goodness …what can I say !! Had lunch here today (Sat May 10th) with some friends. The atmosphere of the restaurant is awesome….the menu served up pleasantly unique dishes . We had several appetizers which were all delicious , especially the artichoke/ asiago dip . All four of our meals were absolutely delicious, served piping hot by attentive courteous upbeat friendly waitress. I highly (!!!!!!!!) recommend everyone go to Lina’s Linguine for an incredible dining experience . Not good. Worst Italian restaurant I can’t believe people actually call it Italian yuck !
First of all the salad and bread is unlimited which is great, as are drinks. The food was great, if you go please try the truffle pasta. Service is always great.
