Terrible quality!. I recently had a very poor dining experience here. Ordered takeout. Paid close to $20 for a very small amount of food. The quality was poor. Soy sauce server is the cheap Chinese food variety, not quality sushi soy sauce. Vegetable tempura offered 5-6 very thin fried veggie slices for $5+tax. Definitely not worth $1 per fried slice. Batter tasted eggy, not crunchy.This is the 2nd time I ordered takout here and both were very mediocre, though full top quality sushi restaurant price!!!Maybe ok for the all you can eat lunch at $12 per adult. Not so good for takeout value.
Very fresh food, I like the fact they don’t put tempura crumbs in all the rolls! The service was friendly and not overbearing!

Fresh. Reviews of sushi places can often be misleading because most people judge them by how much mayonnaise and rice they can slide down their gullet for the lowest price. The fish at Sakura Sushi is extremely fresh, and the service is excellent. That’s all that counts to me. Love this place.
BEST EVER. This is THE BEST place to get sushi in st catharines, as far as all you can eat, and a la carte. Not only is it all you can eat, you don’t have to fuss with paper, pencil, and orders getting screwed up or forgotten. Jacky is there every day, always working on the floor, and greeting you with a huge smile. I have never had a bad meal there and i eat there at least 1 a month. I would HIGHLY recommend for sushi lovers, or someone wanting to try sushi for the first time.Miso soup is always hot, salmon sashimi is always fresh. Their seaweed salad is dynamite, as it their spicy california roll. THE BEST shrimp tempura you’ve ever had!!!! by FAR the best sushi in St Catharines. A MUST GO!!!!always go for all you can eat, and always arrive with an empty stomach!!
Amazing Quality for All You Can Eat and Take Out. Having lived in Vancouver and being someone who eats sushi two to three times a week I can say quite confidently that this is without a doubt one of the best all you can eat sushi places I have ever found! Their sushi is always perfectly prepared with excellently seasoned rice, their sashimi is always perfectly cut and shilled and their rolls are to die for! (They make the best salmon skin roll I have had in Onatrio)They also have wonderful staff who are always very efficient and polite! I would certainly suggest eating here if you are looking for really well prepared sushi
BEST Sushi!. I used to go here when I was in university. Across Canada, to this date, I have yet to find another sushi restaurant that compares. The service is great, presention is amazing, and price point is unbeatable. If you’re in the St. Catharine’s area, defintiely take advantage of this place!
