2019/05/04Last time SWMBO and I ate at Stagecoach was about 7 years ago. Not much has changed since then, although now they do take credit cards. This is a cozy restaurant that has been around for many years. It has booth seating for about 70,low ceilings, Coca Cola Tiffany lampshades, bare wood floors that are on a slight tilt; all contribute to the character of the place. There was still a short wait for a table just before 1 pm. The menu is very diner-ish, with salads, sandwiches, burgers and more. SWMBO had the Tuna Melt Sandwich, which came with a side ($11.25). A generous dollop of tuna salad, but perhaps could have used a touch more mayo, according to SWMBO. I picked the Reuben On Rye with a side salad ($13.75). While it was tasty sandwich, it was very drippy. The puddle on the plate was probably a combination of sauerkraut juice, water from the corned beef, and lots of butter on the rye toast. Although our server tried to be a bit friendly, the staff was too busy and things seemed a bit rushed. Still, it was a good lunch.
