Worst waitress ever seen. Food ordainary waitress very rude, barking instructions at us, ordering was an ordeal we were obviously keeping her from fawning all over single guy at next table. elderly lady next to us had her coffee slammed down on the table so hard she jumped.we had to ask for coffee refill which was very obviously resented.would not recemmend to anyone.horrible experience.

Favourtism at it’s worst. I have been going to this restaurant for quite a while. The place is small, with tables very close together, with not a lot of parking. There are a lot of employees on at once, many seem to have been there quite a while. Two main servers, one foreign woman who hugs a lot, forces a lot of people into her section, if you do not go into her section repeatedly she just ignores you (this is from first hand experience) and is a favorite of the male boss for sure. The other server barely speaks to anyone and is constantly being yelled at for one thing or another (again first hand experience). The kitchen seems to run okay, food is okay, cleanliness is good..

For couples only. A parochial greasy spoon that caters to couples. If they know your first name, expect to be seated quick. Otherwise not so much.We used to frequent here, not every weekend but often enough. As a party of three expect to passed by the next 5 couples who enter. Literally.

3 strikes….. Went a few times and the food was great. We even endured a 20 minute wait for a table many times. Then one time our eggs were overdone, but still served to us. The next time the bacon was wiggly and still served to us, another time the eggs were overdone again. It seems to go downhill when the newbies are on the grill. Keep Glen on the grill!

Fantastic Breakfast!. Good old-fashioned diner vibe, great service and food that is a notch above the usual. We will definitely be back to try other things on the menu, but this morning my husband had the Hot Voltage breakfast which consisted of hot Italian sausage, 2 eggs, homefries, and toast. The eggs came covered in diced peppers, onions, tomato, and cheese and were very tasty. The sausage was quite a bit milder than expected but was nice and lean. The homefries were some of the best we’ve ever had and came loaded with onions (that is optional) and we chose to have them cooked on the grill (deep-fried is another option). My husband had rye toast and we were astonished at the lovely large pieces of rye bread! I had cinnamon raisin french toast with a side of ham. The french toast was exceptional – actually better than I’ve had at many fancier restaurants. The side of ham was redunculous! It was the size of a dinner plate! As I said, we will definitely be back.

A Great Way to Start Your Day. If you are looking for a great breakfast joint that has great service, very good food, huge portions and a straight forward breakfast diner menu, then this is it in St. Catharines. Eggs are cooked perfectly to order, the potatoes are offered two ways, fried or grilled and with or without onions. Hot sauce sits on the table, as does jam AND peanut butter for your toast. The ham side is HUGE with any breakfast order, the kid’s pancake breakfast is adult sized, and you get three choices of types of toast. It is busy, so be prepared to wait as I have been told there are line ups everyday. Our wait for a table of four was only 10 minutes and well worth it.
