I love this place!
A nice little diner.. This nice little downtown diner is great for a quick meal… but what impressed me today was the staff. A gentleman walked in asking for the manager. the manager was not available at the time. He spoke with the hostess and explained he was very hungry and had no money. They sat him at the front, asked him what he would like and proceeded to make him a burger and fries with a coffee. There was no questioning the class of people who run this place. It was one of the nicest gestures I have seen in a long time. The steak on a bun was pretty good and came with fries and a salad. The fries were average. My wife claimed the gyro to be absolutely delicious! And the coffee was fresh and strong. I was happy with the price too…. just under $20. For a diner… this is a great place to eat. Kudos to the staff for their outstanding compassion today. Just that alone will have me coming back more often to eat. Looking forward to trying that gyro my wife just loved…
