My husband (both 34) and I have been going to The Beach for a couple years as we live in the area. We always enjoy our time there. the food is usually very good, and most of the waitstaff is great ( except one girl, who takes forever to take order and delivers drinks and food at her convenience). we had a son last year (March 2013) and bring him with us when we go now. the food is very fairly priced and portions are large. we dont get there every week like we use to, now that we have the baby, but when we do, we still enjoy food, staff and the patio in the warm weather.
Pres. We had diner there two nights ago…2 adults, 2 teens and two children…when we arrived there were only two parties of 10-12 and one other couple in the vast open space and a couple of people at the bar..parking lot was empty…at 6:15 on a Saturday…our waitress took the drink and menu order and then we waited about 25 mins…drinks came but the food took over 1 hour (1.5 hr to get it all and the smallest child did without for over 30 mins after we all were served!). We were told that they had only 1 person in the kitchen…then people started to arrive about 7:15 and we were still waiting for our child’s dinner…when it FINALLY arrived her chicken strips and fries were over cooked and almost inedible….the rest…two wraps of good quality…homemade fries which would have been great except they were over salted/seasoned….the artichoke and spinach dip was awesome (get the nacho chips not pita) and the coconut shrimp was terrific (although only 5 shrimp they were good size)…the Nachos were ok..standard fare kind of sloppy – nothing to rave about just mediocre…service was just ok..we felt bad for the girl who came 4-5 times to say it was not ready yet – in the end 2 of our party had to leave before they were done the meal as it was over 2 hours and they had another engagement…we will give them another chance and hope that they iron out their staff issues….
It sucks. Went we family, we had to wait almost 30 minutes just to order. Once we ordered we waited 1 hour to get our food. People came in behind us and ordered the same thing and got theirs before us. We asked the girl and she said she forgot. Like what is up with that.Then they mixed up the orders, totally unbelievable. And this is a sports bar that my brother-in-law thought highly off. Yet his concern was very much like ours.Waitress made sure we know that she was done at 5 but had to stay because she felt she needed to.Will never go again.
Great food, price and atmosphere. A must go!
My girlfriend and I just enjoyed some great food including the BBQ Bacon Burger and The Panini Club, and the mints are great too!
Great food and staff. I enjoy going with friends to the Beach and feel welcome every time. The food and staff are great. Good times and good beer!
Me & a group of friends recently went to The Beach and we had excellent service and great food. We played pool, ping pong! played the jukebox, darts and thought this is the best place ever! Love The Beach.
