With most menu items under $10, the casual joint makes for an inexpensive meal or take out, especially for the large portions. What was amazing? The Redonkadonk Sandwich (As featured on the Food Network Canadas Show, You Got to Eat Here) with smoked brisket, pulled pork, bacon, grilled onions, fries and bull slaw on a bun ($11.45) was indeed redonkulous with moist meat and smokey flavoursand it was huge! The house-made tortilla chips were amazing as they were crispy. What they could improve on?Crispier fries and the ribs. It was good but not a stand out, for a BBQ joint. maryshappybelly.com

Amazing! A must try if you’re in the area. Never had anything I didn’t like of the menu. Servers are alway friendly and foods always fast. Redonkadonk is a must!!

Wings actually tasted like chicken!!!!!. MY husband and I visited here Saturday May 23rd 2015. We were so hungry after driving for 2 hours. We ordered 1 pound wings as appetizers, they tasted AMAZING! The freshness of the chicken could be tasted and it was well seasoned! The also came out in record timing. The ribs and mashed potatoes were icings on the cake after! Loved it will definitely visit again@

Annoying attitude. Don’t ask for a burger cooked well done (like they’re supposed to be in Ontario). You’ll get attitude. A salad or two would go a long way to making this place more appealing to a larger group. Some nights one of us wants to go but the other wants something lighter to eat. Can’t do that here.

Go to Bull Pit for quality food at a low price. If you’re sick and tired of getting ripped off for a decent meal in St. Catharines then definitely check out the Bull Pit. I hate going to chains like Jack Astors and Boston Pizza only to get a small portion of food on a big plate for twice as much as it’s worth. First time I went to Bull Pit I could barely finish my meal. I was so impressed by the portion size, quality, and price that I decided to bring my friends there as well. The only downside to the Bull Pit is its location. St. Catharines has a terrible set up for downtown parking so you will probably have to park somewhere far and walk to the restaurant.

Really enjoyed the Redonkadonk. My friends and I decided to give this place a try for lunch today and we really enjoyed our visit. I ordered a Redonkadonk sandwich with taco fries and it tasted really good. The brisket on the sandwich was a little fatty but once I cut some of the fat off it was great. The food is a pretty good value and is very tasty. We’ll definitely be back 🙂

Very disappointed. My husband and I just went to the bull bbq pit for dinner this evening excited to try some authentic bbq. My husband smokes meat and I cook so we were really excited. First off we felt extremely unwelcomed when we walked in the wait staff was terrible. Hoping the food would make up for the unprofessional service we were both sadly mistaken. My burger was over done mac n cheese was old and more like mac n where’s the cheese, the seasoning was odd no beef taste.. The pieces of brisket were way to fatty the fat should have been somewhat trimmed before smoking if not smoked longer for the fat to render down. For being a bbq place the wait staff knew nothing about bbq. Going to a bad restaurant is like going on a bad date..you don’t call them again. Therefore we wont be back. I have never written a review before that’s how disappointed I was.
