Credit to the new chef for a terrific Fabulicious-2015 meal !. We chose the Epicurean over some of the other places in town as their Fabulicious menu offerings seemed more creative and attractive than most of the other participating restaurants and the chef did not disappoint ! We noted 2 areas for improvement as far as the restaurant is concerned:The single waitress on duty on Saturday night, although very personable and energetic, was way too short-handed which was the primary reason why our wine orders were nearly forgotten. Granted, when our wine finally arrived we were informed that is was on the house – a savvy move by the maitre’d which saved the situation and a touch that we very much appreciated. The ambiance could be improved by something as simple as removing the unnecessary paper table covers! All in all, a very enjoyable dinner for two
$30 for a very blah quiche, a piping hot chai latte served in a bowl!!!! Poor service shoddy decor trying to pull off shabby chic. Only restaurant open at 0900 on a Friday morning. Wish we had skipped it.
Overpriced and very mediocre. We had wanted to eat at Treadwell’s Farm to Table Cuisine but there was a 2 hour wait so we decided to come here. Despite how starving I was I sort of wish we had waited. I could write a bunch of paragraphs like I usually do. But I think I’m gonna go point form on this one! The positives:-Lovely patio- real backyard like feel. -Good service-Fairly tasty accompaniments with dishes The negatives:-We had to wait well over half an hour for our food, and it wasn’t even that busy.-The wine list wasn’t as impressive as I had hoped seeing as we were right in the heart of wine country. -The halibut I ordered was quite overcooked.-Nothing on any dish we ordered had a ‘wow’ factor. I wouldn’t order anything again. My overall impression of this place was a wanna-be fine dining restaurant, with food quality that did not match the high prices.
Absolutely delicious. Came with family from England, two of which were vegetarian, and everyone really enjoyed theirs meals and the lovely patio atmosphere.
Excellent pleasant place to eat a very delish meal service is great lamb just melts in ur mouth
It was fast and nice sitting outside, but my chicken Caesar had flavourless chicken with limp lettuce. A very ordinary lunch.
