Just of the main drag is this pub, bar, restaurant, hotel. Fromthe outside it looks tired. So with many classy choices on the main street wewere hesitant to go in for lunch. After reading good reviews we decided to persevereand try it. What a great choice. The inside as is the outside are less thannice, but the people, food and prices made this a great choice. The three of us loved our food and will beback again. The selection is great and the food is assume.
Always fun to come to the Angel!! Good food, good people, great atmosphere! After a long weekend of moving the Angel was just the place to come for dinner and a pint
Excellent food, great value, and friendly service.. Was particularly impressed with the portion and the creativity of the mandarin salad. Will definitely go back on our return visit to NOTL.
Good food, good drinks. During our latest visit I thoroughly enjoyed the steak and kidney pie and my wife had an enormous Ruben sandwich. The appetizers that our friends ordered were excellent and the food service was very quick and friendly. I love the atmosphere in this historic building. I have never had bad food our service here. It does get busy and fills up quick so be sure to arrive early or show up during the off season to enjoy yourself amongst the locals.
Great Place. Stopped in for a few pints and a quick bite with a few friends. Staff was awesome. Incredibly friendly and historically knowledgeable. The manager could not have been a better hostess. We’ll be going back for sure!
We’ll Be Back!. I look for 2 things when I stay a good mattress and shower and this place had both. The room lacked some amenities, but was very comfortable and gave us a good (much needed) break from technology!!! The Food was AMAZING! Guinness Steak & Onion pie, stuffed mushrooms, and Chocolate Creme Brulee are a MUST!
Had the french onion soup and portobello mushroom burger! Amazing !
