We passed by after going for wine tour close by. Came in bc of the review here. We had the hip pizza and it was really good. We also tried the pumpkin pie and cherry pie. It was very good. The place is cute. Too bad we won’t have a chance to comeback
Lovely thin crust pizza. Have been here twice for lunch, and had the My Kaptain pizza both times, because it is SO yummy!Love the thin crust! A bit odd that they serve their pizzas with a pair of scissors, but hey…whatever works I guess. Part of the charm.The homemade iced tea was mediocre. Probably wouldn’t get it again.Have also tried their tarts and lemon squares, which were both great.
We are never disappointed at The Pie Plate. Amazing wholesome food and great people. It’s like coming home.
Who doesn’t love pie?. We were spending a day at Niagara-on-the-Lake, but we went out of our way to stop here for lunch first. I would have liked to sit outside but it was really stormy that day. The chairs inside were a little hard and the table was small, but it was tolerable. I ordered a turkey avocado sandwich (the only one with no cheese on it), and my husband ordered the steak melt. He was still talking about it after we had left the place. We also each had a slice of apple pie and it was lovely. Staff was also super-nice. We would definitely go out of our way to eat here again.
Pizza is just absolutiy divne alone with a cold millstreet lager. Nothing but good eats at the Pie plate.
The best coconut cream pie on earth!!! Can’t leave without trying a chocolate Ginger cookie.
