Excellent meal outstanding service just finished dinner had a table over looking the sailing club all of the staff just wanted to make sure we had an enjoyable experience. Our Starters included heirloom tomato and lobster salad both were amazing entries we very much enjoyed were the trout and the duck breast. Everything was outstanding not to be missed…lots of selection unlike many others in the area
We had the pleasure of dining at Tiara over the weekend. Our waitress, Rose, was prompt, pleasant and helpful in ordering the perfect dishes. For appetizers, we had the seafood cioppino and olive oil poached tuna. Both were delightful and very flavourful. For mains, we chose a lobster tail and the feature dish which was various shellfish on black linguini in a cream sauce. Very flavourful, and VERY filling!!We decided to have our desserts delivered to our room and enjoyed chocolate cake with fresh cherry topping, and a very tasty cheesecake. We had been shopping at some local wineries as well, so we had a lovely ice wine to enjoy as well. The next morning, we had brunch in the Tiara dining room. The selection was amazing. We’re pescetarians, and it can sometimes be hard to find enough food at buffets, but we needn’t have worried here. There was smoked salmon, seafood salad, monkfish, plenty of fresh vegetables, fritatas, crepes, fruit….the list goes on. I understand the meat selections were amazing as well. All in all, the Tiara Restaurant is an excellent place to dine no matter the time of day, or the occasion.
Our dinner was included as part of our hotel and theatre package. Both my girl friend and I were very dissapointed with our main dish. It wasn’t bad food, but it wasn’t anything worth writing home about. That being said the aps were great. She had the truffle pasta and I had the halibut.
